2020 New Jersey Scientific Report On Climate Change

We at the Department of Environmental Protection are pleased to share with you that the New Jersey’s Scientific Report on Climate Change is now out!

In response to Governor Phil Murphy’s EO 89, the report shines a light on the latest and most reliable science when it comes to how climate change will impact New Jersey.

New Jersey is already experiencing the effects of a changing climate through our increasingly mild winters, more intense rainfalls, flooding along inland streams and rivers, and more tidal flooding along our coast. As the climate continues to change, its urgent we all have access to information to help us understand what future impacts are likely to occur, and when.
