Rutgers Environmental Steward programs

Rutgers Environmental Steward programs

The Rutgers Environmental Stewards program will be offering its training program in Burlington County (and other NJ counties) again this fall.  You do NOT have to live in the county to attend the program.

The fee is $250.00 per person.

Each program offers the core topics of climate change, soil health, geology, water resource protection, environmental policy, alternative energy, and habitat conservation. Additional topics vary based on program location.

Fieldtrips to environmentally significant locations in New Jersey are included. A 60 hour internship is completed by each Steward in order to become a Certified Environmental Steward.

The schedule for all 2019 program locations is available.
